We’re Not Out of The Woods Yet

1990 - Present

Not yet out of danger, not free from difficulties, but promise of better times. The forest is complex, dark, full of unknowns. I pay attention, am on guard. I try but fail to see the forest for the trees. When I first used this as a title it felt like a perfect description of my studio practice. Recently it’s taken on a more universal significance.
